This wooden children’s toy has design influence from the Memphis era. The construction pieces work similarly to Mr. Potato Head, but they allow the child to create whimsical creatures. This product originated as a wooden toy, but is now being produced in both wood and plastic.

Sandra Higashi and Byron Glaser met while studying graphic design and illustration at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Together, they created the award-winning Zolo and Curious Bonz line of toys. Their multi-dimensional graphic design firm, Higashi Glaser Design, provides services to clients including the Cartoon Network and Sanrio. In addition, they have collaborated on a wide range of children’s books.
