Max Heater and Fan
This semicircular heater and fan is like a small house pet with chrome plated legs. Max comes from Switzerland and functions exceptionally well.
Matti Walker began his studies in painting and later apprenticed as a graphic designer for an advertising agency. He completed his education at the Color Psychology institute, founded by Heinrich Frieling. in 1991 walker opened his own graphic design firm, Atelier Farbton, located in a small village in the Swiss Alps. He began his long partnership with Stadler Form in 1999 when the firm hired him to design its first product, the Fred humidifier. The
success of Fred, with its playful design and graphic colors, led walker to design eight more products for the company: Max, Charly, Henry, Lilly, Oskar, Anton, Albert, and Anna. in 2008 Fred was featured in the exhibition Design & Emotion at the Badisches Landesmuseum in Karlsruhe, Germany. The Max Heater received the Accent on Design Award at the New York international Gift Fair in 2002, and Anna, a ceramic heater, was awarded the
Gold Medal for overall winner at the international Home & Housewares
Show in Chicago in 2012.
