Humidifiers are used to control humidity not only in offices and in the home, but also in galleries and museums. The lovely clean lined machine – like a drop of water adding moisture to the air – quietly controls the humidity level of the room. The humidifier blends unobtrusively into any space, and whether being used or not is attractive to the eye.

Naoto Fukasawa

Naoto Fukasawa graduated with a degree in product design from Tokyo’s Tama Art University in 1980. He worked for IDEO in San Francisco and became head of its Tokyo office. In 2003 he established Naoto Fukasawa Design and launched his own brand of household products called +0 (PlusMinusZero). His minimalist style stems from a philosophy he calls “Without Thought.” As he explains, “People shouldn’t really have to think about an object when they are using it. Not having to think about it makes the relationship between a person and an object run more smoothly. Finding ideas in people’s spontaneous behavior and realizing these ideas in design is what Without Thought is about”. Fukasawa has won over fifty awards, including the American IDEA Gold Award.
