Adalberto Pironi attended the Facoltà di Architettura di Milano. He also studied Industrial Design at Scuola Politecnica di Design where he studied well- known academics such as Mr Bruno Munari. From 1980 to 1990 he worked with The Sottsass Associati, an international studio in Milan. There he collaborated with Ettore Sottsass and designed various houses, shops, fair pavillons and shopping centres. Since 1990 he has had his own studio in Milan, where he deals with housing and interior design, shops, restaurants, offices and shopping centres.
He has worked with such important companies as Flexform and Alessi, for whom he designed a successful line of kitchen products called “Collection Twergi”. Some of these items were chosen for the permanent collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
